Shelly Keene is busy. Busy with her job, busy with her family, and busy making the world a beter place.
Ask anyone at her PTO about her invovlement with school. Or the Susan G Komen foundation, about Shelly's help with fundraisers. Even the local Douglas County Relay for Life has benefited from Shelly's help.
When not working for various charities, she enjoys playing flute and piano, the occasional game of volleyball, miniature golf, bowling, art (drawing and painting), photography, hunting and reading.
Mrs. Central Nebraska 2005 and 2006
is also a passionate collector of lighthouses—yes, in Nebraska. Shelly collects miniature lighthouses!
Shelly hopes to reach out to families dealing with difficult situations and let them know that there are places and people available and willing to help.
