Deb Badeer

Deb Badeer has been married for 25 years and is the proud mother of five boys and three girls, ranging in age from 3 to 24.  She has been active in the Mrs. Nebraska Pageant as a judge, performer and auditor since 1984 when she became Mrs. Nebraska.
She has held two pageant titles, including Miss Nebraska USA 1977 and Mrs. Nebraska 1984.  Deb signs and speaks locally on topics that include faith, motherhood, organization, home education, and is an active member of the Nebraska Non-Partisan Family Coalition.  Her main career and hobby is teaching their eight children.  Deb has been a home educator for her eight children for 17 years and have graduated two of her children thus far.
Deb and her family entertain area groups by singing and signing to music, playing various instruments and performing skits together.  They also have done several commercial and video projects.  They enjoy being politically active in campaigns through the Nebraska Legislature.
Debs family was selected as the 2002 Family of the Year by the Nebraska Family Council.
