Debra is a native of Omaha and is married to Scott Gray.  She was crowned Mrs. Nebraska in June 2001.  While competing for the title of  Mrs. America in Hawaii, she won out of 51 women the overall Mrs. Fitness-Wellness Award.   For the past eleven years she has operated her own business as a personal trainer.  Her focus and platform is on health and fitness issues.  She is also involved in her community as a co-chairperson with the American Cancer Society's Douglas County Relay for Life event.  In addition, Debra and Scott are expecting their first child.  She is the first Mrs. Nebraska to become pregnant during her reign.
