Mrs. Nebraska 1999

Peggy Malzacher

28 year old Peggy Malzacher has had over 70 appearances during her reign. She had numerous ads regarding her platform of speaking to troubled youth about "Overcoming Adversity". She traveled to Hawaii and was pat of the National telecast for the Mrs. America Pageant. Some of the opportunities made possible through the Mrs. Nebraska title were interviews by television and radio personalities, being featured in magazines, and participating in fundraisers for the Cancer and Arthritis Foundations. Peggy also emceed and judged events, participated in fashion shows and parades, stood with dignitaries and became a national speaker. In addition, Peggy was honored with a Nebraska Legislative Resolution for her volunteer work in developing and strengthening families.
